Charles C. Royer, 62, of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at his sister’s home in Belleville.


Born Mar. 16, 1958, in Belleville, he was the son of Charles L. Royer and the late Kay (Laub) Royer.

In addition to his mother, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Royer. Charles is survived by his wife, Beth Royer, whom he married on Nov. 24, 1989; children; Brittany Royer and Justin Aumiller of Lewistown, Kalyn Royer Condron and Joseph Jeffries of Lewistown, Alexandra Royer and fiance Thomas Moyer, of Lewistown; siblings Leigh Swineford and husband Larry, of Belleville, Renee Shambach and husband Aaron, of Linglestown and grandchildren Gabriel Condron, Christopher Moyer and Charlotte King. Charles served in the United States Army and was employed by PennDOT as the Mifflin County Roadmaster.

He was a life member of the Belleville Fire Company, as well as a member of the Allensville Fire Company, the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Lodge No. 203 F&AM in Lewistown, and the Jaffa Shriners.

Charles was an avid bee keeper, raised an orchard and enjoyed cooking and camping in his spare time.

His services will be private and at the convenience of his family.
