Thelma B. Glick, 93, of 237 S. Dryhouse Road, Belleville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 at her home.
Born Feb. 24, 1926, in Allensville, she was a daughter of the late Sadie N. (Yoder) Kurtz. She was also preceded in death June 7, 1984, by her spouse, Jonathan D. Glick, whom she married Jan. 8, 1949.
She is survived by: children, Jane Freed and husband, Steve, of Wyoming, Darlis Hartzler and husband, Loren, Don Glick and Ed Glick and wife, Cheryl, all of Belleville; grandchildren, Michelle Freed, Heather Henderson, Dana Haubrick, Deb McCall, Candace Dietz, Alisha Carr and Dane Glick; and great-grandchildren Taylor Oestmann, John Haubrick, Levi Haubrick, Natalie Haubrick, Tyler McCall, Max McCall, Jaimen Dietz, Mallory Dietz, Shawn Carr and Porter Glick.
She was primarily a homemaker and a hardworking farm wife in her younger days. She enjoyed quilting, baking, cooking meals for her family on holidays, running around with her friends on “town day” and playing cards
Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2020 at Allensville Mennonite Church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Locust Grove Cemetery.
