Ann O. Kester, 83, of Belleville, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on October 7, 1941 in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Babcock) Olskey. On December 29, 1962, she married William D. “Bill” Kester, who survives at home.
Also surviving are children: Douglas R. Kester and wife Carol of Bloomsburg, Cindy A. Harpster and husband Lewie of Lewistown, and William T. Kester and wife Pam of Leola; grandchildren: Elizabeth Kester and husband Dave, Paula Kester, Camille Kester, Mason Kester, Shawn Harpster and wife Odalis, and Jahlina Kester; great-grandchildren: Joshua Csernak, Matthew Csernak, and Andrea Harpster Batista.
She was an only child. She graduated in 1959 from Lewistown High School and was also a graduate from Bloomsburg Teacher’s College.
She loved quilting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, and various other crafts. She had a passion for music.
She was a member of the Belleville Civic Club and also a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belleville.
Per her wishes, there will be no services.
