Lydia M. Peachey

Lydia M. Peachey, 92 years 9 months, 27 days, of 239 Barrville Mountain Road, Reedsville, passed away of natural causes on Monday, October 20, 2025, at her home.

She was born on December 23, 1932.  She is survived by her children: Emanuel and wife Mary of Cadiz, KY, Nancy and husband Jacob of Reedsville, Martha and husband Joseph of Allensville, Jesse and wife Sylvia of Reedsville, Rachel and husband Abner, Reuben and wife Emma, Daniel and wife Lydia, Julia and husband David, all of Belleville; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a sister: Annie and husband Samuel of Rockville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Lee Peachey, a daughter-in-law, Katie L. Peachey, a sister Nancy Swarey, brothers: Daniel J. Peachey and Jacob E. Peachey, and 3 granddaughters.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at her residence, 239 Barrville Mountain Road, Reedsville. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 9 a.m. at the residence of Jonas J. Peight, 281 Barrville Mountain Road, Reedsville.  Burial will be held at the Green Lane Cemetery, Belleville.

Arrangements are under the care of Henderson Funeral Home, 3813 West Main Street, Belleville.
