Audrey J. Michael

May 20, 1934 - September 1, 2025

Audrey Jean Michael was born in Belleville on May 20,1934 and passed on to Heaven on September 1, 2025. She was 91 years old.

She was the daughter of the late William W. and Margaret R. (Russler) Miller.

She is survived by her children Debra Goddard, Cindra Mirales, Patricia McKnight and sister Lucy Magda.  She was “Nanny” to 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Gene C. Michael, and three sisters Donna Snook, Sally Shingler and Nancy Aumiller.

Audrey was an RN. She graduated from Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing in 1955.  Through the years she has had many different nursing jobs. Because her husband was a 20-year career Navy Lt., Audrey traveled extensively around the world.

One of Audrey’s passions was playing the piano. She looked forward to playing piano at church, which she did up to the week proceeding her death.

Visitation will be held at Henderson Funeral Home, 3813 West Main Street, Belleville, on Monday, September 8^th from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3597 West Main Street, Belleville, on Tuesday, September 9^th at 10 am.
