Brian K. Horn, 52, of Shirleysburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at UPMC, Altoona.
He was born on July 19, 1972, in Huntingdon, to Dennis R. Horn of Shirleysburg and the late Carol A. (Osborne) Horn, who passed away on November 16, 2008.
Along with his father, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Thomson and husband David of Huntingdon; sisters: Denise M. Zinobile of Three Springs and Angela I Duvall and husband Richard of Shirleysburg; nephews and nieces: Brandon Duvall and wife Sarah and their children, Owen and Adelyn of Three Springs, Joshua Welch and wife Lydia and their son Declan of Shippensburg, Trevor Duvall of Shirleysburg and girlfriend Lizzi Zinobile, Amber Parks and husband Brandon and their children, Liam, Hayden, Conner and Micah of Shade Gap, Tommy Zinobile and wife Alison and their son Ellsworth of Shade Gap; an aunt: Connie Osborne of Shirleysburg; an uncle: Kenny Osborne of Mill Creek; and step-aunt, Valeri Dixon and husband George of McConnellstown. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Thomas Zinobile on February 24, 2022.
He was a 1990 graduate of Mount Union High School. Upon graduation, he was employed at Skills in Huntingdon.
He was a member of Sugar Run Church of the Brethren in Shirleysburg, where he served as an usher for over 30 years.
He loved listening to music, playing games on his tablet, watching game shows on TV, and was especially fond of the Price is Right.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, 17193 Hill Valley Road, Shirleysburg, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Whitsel officiating. Burial will be held at the Germany Valley Cemetery, Shirleysburg.

Brian was one of the most beautiful and caring person that I have ever met. He is one that I considered a true friend and classmate. My deepest condolences to his family and prayers for peace and comfort.
