Clarence Bill Yoder

Clarence Bill Yoder, 2, of 44 Morgan Dr., McVeytown, was tragically taken from this life at 12:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023.


Clarence was born on May 20, 2020. He is deeply missed by his parents, Jonathan Roy and Reba Mae (Weaver) Yoder and his little sister, Amelia Faith, all of the same address. He is also survived by his grandparents, Amelia B. (King) Yoder of McVeytown, and John W. and Joyce D. (Groff) Weaver of Mattawana, and a great-grandmother, Amy A. (Knauer) Groff, of McVeytown; 19 special aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ray M. Yoder.

Clarence’s winsome personality endeared him to all he met. Although he was so young, Clarence loved to sing his heart out, “My God is so BIG, so strong, and so mighty, there’s nothing my God cannot do! The mountains are His, the rivers are His, the stars are his handiwork too; My God is so BIG, so strong, and so mighty, there’s nothing my God cannot do for YOU!!”

Clarence loved choo-choo trains and playing outside.

He attended church with his parents at Strodes Mills Mennonite Church.

His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Living Springs Mennonite Church in McVeytown with Sheldon Yoder officiating. Burial will take place at Strodes Mills Mennonite Church Cemetery following the service. His family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Living Springs Church.
