Cyrus G. Beisel

October 28, 1941 - March 2, 2021

Cyrus G. Beisel, 79, of Belleville, passed away at 5:34 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2021, at William Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lewistown.

Born Oct. 28, 1941, in Palmerton, PA, he was the only child of the late Cyrus and Catherine (Keich) Beisel, who resided in Tamaqua, PA. On June 19, 1971, he married Ann (Metz) Beisel. She survives at their home.

Also surviving are his children, Joseph Beisel, Gina Beisel, Holly Clouser and Elizabeth Thornton, as well as nine grandchildren.

Cyrus graduated from Tamaqua High School and from Penn State University. He was employed for many years as a Systems Programmer at Sperry-New Holland and their successors, in Belleville. In recent years, following his retirement from New Holland, he was self-employed.

He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in State College.

His family will begin receiving friends at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Henderson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Machpelah Cemetery in Belleville with Revs. Trace Turner and Bruce Backensto officiating. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 370 Airport Rd., State College, PA 16801.
