DaVida J. Kanagy, 70, of 903 Middle Road, Belleville, PA, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on November 12, 1952 to the late David E. and Ida M. (Glick) Kanagy of Belleville. DaVida did private homecare for over 30 years in the Big Valley Area. She is a member of Rockville Fellowship Church and enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She also volunteered at the Big Valley Thrift & Gift in Belleville.
Surviving family members include: brother Roy D. Kanagy, one niece Tami Peachey & husband Nathan, three nephews, Curtiss Kanagy and wife Robin, Robert Kanagy and wife Audrey, and David Kanagy and wife Carrie, 13 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha M. Kanagy, a sister-in-law Rita Kanagy and a stillborn brother.
The burial will take place at the Allensville Mennonite Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at the Rockville Fellowship Church in Belleville with Pastor Harold Sharp and Pastor James Richter officiating.
