Duane M. Couch

October 16, 1952 - April 23, 2025

Duane M. Couch, 72, of Huntingdon, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born on October 16, 1952, in Lewistown to the late Paul and Eleanor (Cunningham) Couch.  On September 10, 1977, he married Renee J. (Stickler) Couch, who survives at home.

Along with his wife, he is survived by children: Jenilee L. Haas and husband Seth T. of James Creek, Michael G. Couch and wife Dana of Louisiana; 4 grandchildren: Blake A. Haas, Ashlyn J. Haas, Hadley Couch, Braylan Couch; and a sister: Diana Card of Dillsburg, PA.

He was a 1970 graduate of Huntingdon High School.  He was a self-employed mechanic since 1985 and was the owner/operator of Stone Valley Auto Repair.

He was a member of Word of Life Fellowship, where he served as treasurer.  He served as a Miller Township Supervisor for 12 years.

He loved fishing, especially taking his grandkids fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 11 – noon, with the funeral service following at noon at the Stone Valley Bible Church, 13543 Greenwood Road, Huntingdon, PA, with Pastors Dan Morris and Steve Watkins officiating.  Burial will be at the United Presbyterian Cemetery, Huntingdon.
