Elizabeth Ellen "Betty" Gerlock, 81, Valley View Terrace Apt. A208, Belleville and formerly of Mt. Union, died at 11:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at Valley View Haven.
Born Nov. 28, 1939, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of John G. Gerlock and Mary M. (Mizak) Gerlock.
She is survived by one brother, A. Stephen Gerlock of Brick, New Jersey, as well as several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna K. Welliver and Margaret V. Bell, one brother, Edward Gerlock, and a nephew, Thomas Bell, in 2018.
Miss Gerlock was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Mount Union.
She worked at D.C. Goodman & Sons, Greif Bros. Sewing Factory until its closing, North American Brickyard until its closing, and then at Fiberglas until her retirement in 1994.
She was a wonderful caregiver for her mother until she passed away.
Her graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family at Holy Cross Cemetery in Huntingdon. The Rev. Joseph Fleming will officiate.
