Esther M. Peachey

September 30, 1941 - April 26, 2024

Esther M. Peachey, 82 years, 6 months, 27 days, of 25 Sunset Drive, Belleville, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at her home.

She was born on September 30, 1941 to the late Jacob and Nannie (Byler) Byler.  On November 30, 1961, she married Jacob E. Peachey Sr. who survives at home.

Along with her husband, she is survived by children:  Sylvanus Peachey and wife Ida of Belleville, Jacob E. Peachey, Jr. and wife Martha of Belleville, Emanual Peachey and wife Rachel of Belleville, Melvin Peachey and wife Marianne of Ickesburg, John Peachey and wife Esther of Newport, PA; son-in-law Jonathan Zook and wife Gertie of Belleville; 23 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; siblings:  Linda Peachey and husband David of Belleville, John Byler and wife Annie of Belleville, Brother-in-law Aaron Peachey of Mifflinburg, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhoda Zook and a sister Fannie Peachey.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

The viewing will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her residence, 25 Sunset Drive, Belleville, then again on Sunday, April 28, 2024 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at her residence.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the residence of Ephraim Peachey, 55 Sunset Drive, Belleville.

Burial will be held at Locust Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Henderson Funeral Home, 3813 West Main Street, Belleville.
