Geraldine S. Hagans

Geraldine S. Hagans, 90, of A209 Valley View Terrace, Belleville, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at Valley View Haven.


Born July 22, 1930 in Albany, GA, she was a daughter of the late Lige and Flossie (Owens) Smallwood.

She is survived by a son Timothy Hagans & wife Kathi of Spruce Creek, PA, a daughter-in-law, Kathy Hagans of Reedsville, grandchildren, Tabetha Picker & husband Jonathan of Chesterbrook, PA; Jamie Mulhorn & husband Eric of Jonestown, PA; Keven Hagans & wife Anna of Huntingdon, PA; and Alesha Weaver & husband Chad of Tyrone, PA; great-grandchildren, Tiran Picker, Dayvah Hagans, Celestia Hagans, and Kinslee Weaver, as well as two sisters, Blanche Dekle and Nora Singleton, both of Albany, GA. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, James Hagans on May 3, 2020.

Geraldine was a former clerk at Hill Department Store and she retired from the State College School District as a baker in the cafeteria. She was a prior member of the McAlevy’s Fort Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed working on puzzles, playing bingo and trivia nights at Valley View.

Due to social distancing restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Green Lea Cemetery.
