Jane K. Lewis, 64, formerly of Mill Creek, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
She was born on July 17, 1959, in Huntingdon, PA, to the late Rufus and Mary L. (Peachey) Yoder. On November 28, 1985, she married James W. Lewis, who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Chester Yoder.
Also surviving are her sons Justin A. Lewis and wife Cassandra of Huntingdon, Jeremy N. Lewis and wife Amber of Lewistown; Eight grandchildren, Reid Williams, Rachel Lewis, Adam Lewis, Hannah Lewis, Jeremiah Lewis, Easton Wilson, Kamdyn Lewis, Asher Lewis; Brothers and sisters, Anna Mary Shirer and husband James of Martinsburg, Louise Brown and husband Paul of Mill Creek, Twin sister Joan Beck and husband Kenneth of Allensville.
She was a 1977 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and attended Lancaster Bible College. She was primarily a homemaker. She had spent some time in France on a Mission Trip. She attended Locust Grove Mennonite Church.
Her hobbies included crocheting, doing crafts, sewing, and paint and color-by-number books.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 27, 2024, at the Locust Grove Mennonite Church with Neil Renno officiating. A luncheon will follow the service in the social hall. The burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
