Kathryn Jane (Wyland) Zook

August 9, 1928 - December 27, 2020

Kathryn Jane (Wyland) Zook, 92, formerly of Belleville, passed away at 12:53 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020 at Wynwood House in Boalsburg.

Born, Aug. 9, 1928 in Belleville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn (Shultz) Wyland.

She was married on June 26, 1947 to Mahlon C. Zook, who passed away on June 16, 2002.

She is survived by her son Charles M. Zook and companion Kay, of Belleville; three grandchildren David Zook and wife Marie, of Conneaut Lake, Norah Storm and husband Joseph, of McClure and Malinda Bell, of Norristown; five great-grandchildren Chloe, Owen, Rachel, Alicia and Dale and a number of special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dale K. Zook on May 6, 2017, siblings Mary Wilson, Charles P., Archie E., Paul C. and Leroy F. Wyland.

Kathryn sold Avon in the Belleville area for 20 years and also worked at Elco in Huntingdon for three years.

She enjoyed attending and having flea markets at her home. She made jewelry and sold it.

She was a very generous and loving person to her caregiver, Pat Fultz. They shares many good times together.

Her grandchildren are very special to her because she helped raise them.

Her graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Harold Sharp officiating.
