Kenneth G. Beck

December 29, 1933 - April 3, 2024

Kenneth G. Beck, 90, of 9875 Big Valley Pike, Mill Creek, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

He was born on December 29, 1933 in Hesston, PA to the late Mahlon and Elsie (Shoop) Beck.  On March 31, 1954, he married Janet (Graham) Beck, who survives at home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rose Beck; three sisters Marlene Couch, Connie Howell, Marsha Meshyock and a brother Roy Beck.

Along with his wife, he is survived by children: Sharon Mason and husband Tim of Alexandria, Carolyn Yoder and husband Dave of Allensville, Kenneth E. “Buck” Beck and wife Joan of Allensville, Wanda J. Spickler and husband John of Mill Creek, Teresa J. Whitsel and husband Steve of Mill Creek; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; a sister Karen Stains and husband Jim of Huntingdon; and a sister-in-law Judy Beck of Donation, PA.

He worked at New Holland for 34 years retiring in 1991.  He was a former forest fire warden for Huntingdon County for a few years.

He enjoyed fishing, camping with his family, hunting, bowling, doing woodworking projects and spending time in the outdoors.  He and his wife went to Florida in the winter for several years as well.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be held at Allensville Presbyterian Cemetery.
