Kyle Lee Wert, 26, of 775 Green Lane, Reedsville, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Jan. 25, 1995, in Danville. He is the son of Brian Lee and Sherry Lynn (Strohecker) Wert, of Reedsville and the brother of Kelly Linn Jones and husband Daniel Ray of Thompsontown and Kristina May Wert of Reedsville.
He is also survived by: his maternal grandmother, Linda Strohecker of Harrisburg; paternal grandparents, Sherle Lee and Mary Esther (Peachey) Wert of Belleville; aunts and uncles, Sandy Peachey and husband Donald J. of Belleville and Heather Eby and husband JB of Belleville; as well as his cousins, Kendra, Garrett, Madeline, and Olivia.
Kyle was a 2013 graduate of Mifflin County High School. He was employed at Coffee Run Heat Treating in Reedsville. He was a member of Allensville Mennonite Church and he enjoyed building things, playing video games and going fishing. He really liked trains and loved riding his Gator.
His memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Allensville Mennonite Church with Pastor Bob Zook officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Allensville Mennonite Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church.
