Patricia A. “Patti” Waddell, 88, of 89 Sparkle Drive, Reedsville, passed away at 8:48 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home.
Born Oct. 17, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Eugene H. and Jeanette (McClelland) Wilson. On Aug. 4, 1951, she married John A. Waddell, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2011.
She is survived by her children: John H. Waddell and wife Judy of Belleville; Kathy Macchiaverna of Reedsville; Dennis E. Waddell and wife Elizabeth “Betsy” of Muncy; and Mark J. Waddell and wife Kimberly of Richmond, Va., as well as 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren: Matthew Waddell and his son Jonah, Daniel Waddell and wife Amanda and their sons Nathan and Jacob, Lucas Waddell, Michael Macchiaverna and wife Amy and their daughter Emma Kate, Ann Getz and husband Jared & their sons Gabriel and Greyson, Traci Macchiaverna, Patrick Macchiaverna and wife Rachel, Amy Ragland and husband Mychal and their daughter Amara, Luke Waddell & wife Aimee, John Waddell, Ted Waddell, Jordan Hebert & husband Mat Herbert & their son Adrian, Taylor Waddell and Zane Waddell. Also surviving is a half-sister, Mary Hilland of Gahanna, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Michael Macchiaverna.
Patti was primarily a homemaker. She was a member of the Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church in Reedsville and she was an active volunteer in her community.
Her services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
