Paul J. Glick

July 22, 1926 - July 2, 2020

Paul J. Glick, 93, of 85 Maple Grove Road, Belleville, passed away at 11:56 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020 at his home.

Born July 22, 1926 in Belleville, he was the son of the late Alphie S. Glick and Bertha E. (Kauffman) Glick.

His wife, Grace L. (Yoder) Glick, whom he married July 26, 1947, survives.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his children Paul Ronald Glick and wife Thelma, of Mount Union, JoAnn Sausman and husband Randy, of Belleville, and Janice Y. Glick, of Belleville; siblings Saranna Yoder, of McVeytown, and Jeff Glick, of Williamsport; sisters-in-law Sarah Glick, of Belleville, and Phyllis Glick, of Vira; seven grandchildren Deanne Yale, Nicole Shawver, Brian Schlegel, Amy Dietrich, Jamie Boozel, Stacey Williams and Kristopher Hagemeyer; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by three brothers Norman Glick, Jonathan Glick and Frank Glick, and three sisters Verna Morris, Priscilla Yoder and Elizabeth “Bessie” Peachey.

Paul retired in 2000 from Ross Harshbarger and previously worked for Boring Transport and S.I. Yoder Oil Company.

Paul enjoyed puzzle books, going to gospel singings, going on bus trips and traveling to Florida.

He was a member of Mountain View Mennonite Chapel and a former member of Big Valley Ambulance Club.

Paul’s memorial service will be private and at the convenience of the family with Pastor Nelson Roth officiating. Burial will take place at Locust Grove Cemetery, Belleville.
