Ruby J. Dunlap, 85, of 13597 Weiler Road, Huntingdon, Jackson Township, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at her home.
Born September 26, 1937 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Jean (Bollinger) Dickson. She was the last of her immediate family.
Ruby is survived by children Douglas E. Dunlap of Huntingdon and Jeffrey L. Dunlap of Shirleysburg; grandchildren Jennifer Dunlap, Joey Wenrick, Jessica Glover, and seven great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1957 and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas in Huntingdon in 2001 after 27 years of service.
In earlier years, she enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, going to the family camp “Dit In”, hunting and fishing.
Her funeral will also be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Morris officiating. The burial will take place at the Green Lee Cemetery following the service. Her viewing will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home, Belleville.
