Scott E. Miller

March 23, 1961 - August 5, 2025

Scott E. Miller, 64, of Belleville, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

He was born on March 23, 1961 in Hamburg, PA to the late Ernest O. and Joyce (Fox) Miller.  On April 5, 2006, he married Lisa J. (Yoder) Miller, who survives at their home.

He is survived by children: Crystal L. Hetrick and husband John of Oley, PA and their son Clayton, Kyle T. Kulp and wife Lyndsey of Lewistown and children, Blyler Kulp and Annie Kulp, and “adopted” son, Ezra N. Hostetler and wife Nancy and children, Linda, Barbara and Rebecca of Reedsville; his best buddy was his pig “Scooter”, siblings: Cindy Weist and husband Daniel “Woody” of Leesport, PA, Sandy Fryer and husband Larry of Woodstock, MD, and Todd Miller and wife Pat of Hamburg, PA.

Scott graduated in 1979 from Hamburg High School.  He and his wife were lifelong dairy farmers.

He was a lifetime member of Virginville Grange and attended Maple Grove Mennonite Church.

He enjoyed attending cow sales, going to farm auctions, bowling, watching sports on TV, and gathering with friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at the Virginville Grange, 456 Main Street, Virginville, PA  19564, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, beginning at noon, with a luncheon to follow.  For local Mifflin County friends, there will be a Celebration of Life held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Furnace State Park.
